Exercise of the Week: Quadruped Rocking with RNT

The exercise of the week comes from my friend Joe Heiler from Sports Rehab Expert that I have been using frequently as of late.  While I am sure many of you are familiar with the rock back as a mobility exercise from Sahrmann’s text, the addition of a stability ball allows us to use it to develop proper stability in hip flexion and to teach us to better disassociate hip and lumbar spine movement.  I’ve also begun to incorporate breathing pattern work in those who demonstrate good patterns in seated and prayer positions.
